The Mission

Education

We have a duty to identify core issues and tackle concerns we see, in the best ways we know how.

My mission became clear long ago, and continues to persevere.

Whether we are individuals or organizations, education needs us all— desperately.

Times of Rapid Change

We’re living in a time of rapid change. Every day, families, friends, and children are exposed to more information than ever before. We are seeing intense policy changes & implementation of new technology around the world.

  • According to the National Education Association, Teachers are left undervalued, overworked, undertrained, and underpaid amongst many other concerns. More often than not, teachers find they do not have the support they need in the current system to address a student’s needs as well as their own.

  • Besides a lack of proper funding and support, educators will now be expected to train themselves how to utilize and teach AI across the board. Managing technological growth has been a consistent challenge over the past 20 years, and this will be no different.. especially in underprivileged and underserved communities.

  • Many recent policy changes to Education lean heavily into cutting staff, slashing funding, and mitigating support for teachers and students. See only some of these Executive Orders here, and specifics on DOE’s closure & responsibilities here.

THE FACTS

The Educational Crisis

Chronic absenteeism over the past few years has been at an all-time high. Mental health and educational struggle dominate national conversations. Furthermore, Teachers and Students both struggle in the system we have in place today.

  • According to the Center on Reinventing Public Education (CRPE), the average American Student is “less than halfway to a full academic recovery”.

  • According to Attendance Works, continued high levels of Chronic Absence require action! High levels of school chronic absence remained a substantial challenge. In the 2022-23 school year, 61% of schools had high or extreme levels of chronic absence, compared with 65% in 2021-22 and only 28% pre-pandemic.

  • Key Research by Attendance Works states that children living in poverty are two to three times more likely to be chronically absent—and face the most harm because their community lacks the resources to make up for the lost learning in school.

The Roblox Ecosystem

In the U.S. alone, 1 in 3 kids are active on the Roblox platform—and that's just one example of the many global digital spaces shaping young minds.

Navigating the online world has become increasingly complex, and concerns around digital safety and civility are growing.

  • On Roblox in Q1 2025, Daily Active Users (DAU) for users under 13 are over 36 Million worldwide, with nearly one quarter of those kids being within the US & Canada. Additionally, there are 61 Million DAU over 13— which includes middle school and high school students. Roblox’s reach to the youth is gigantic, both in the United States and worldwide.

  • According to Harmony Healthcare, Gen Z takes the #1 spot for most average screen time, at 6 hours and 27 minutes. Additionally, they are the top demographic aiming to cut down their screen time usage, at a whopping 66%. Gen Z is consumed by technology, while also being the strongest demographic aiming to cut down their screen time.

  • Within the 2025 Common Sense Report, Figures 19 & 20 prove that Parents, as well as Kids and Teenagers in 2025, overwhelmingly support social media regulation changes that would keep kids & young people safer. We’re all concerned with the digital world’s impact on our youth.

Turning Games into Gateways for Change.

It is clear that things need to change, for the betterment of our children and for the future of our world.

So.. What Can We Do?

That’s Where I Come In

Utilize Roblox for Impact

As a veteran Roblox Developer, it became clear years ago that Roblox would continue to grow in popularity. As stated above, the platform has immense reach and has many young adults and children’s full attention.

What if we could shift that focus into a passion for learning both inside and outside of Roblox?
What if the games kids play aim to enhance their education?
What if these games were developed with a strong intention to prioritize digital safety?

This, and more, is very possible on Roblox.

Specifically, I..

  • Intend to lead and spearhead initiatives that inspire not only kids and teachers to learn on Roblox, but to inspire developers to get involved as well!

  • Intend to lead a company with the sole mission to drive educational content forward on Roblox.

  • To utilize Roblox’s DAU and foster a positive, safe learning experience for kids & teens within the United States.

  • Work closely with educational institutions, schools, and other knowledge improvement efforts to encourage kids & teens to get involved in their local communities in many different ways.

KEY GOALS

Aid Education & Address the Crisis

Since Covid-19, children in education have been struggling to hit educational and attendance standards. Teachers feel overwhelmed, massive shifts and changes to education are being put in place, and kids across the nation are losing their drive to learn both inside and outside of school.

Addressing this crisis will not be easy. It will require new angles, new approaches, new ideas and new ways of thinking.

Nonetheless, the Educational Crisis is a huge concern, and we should be doing everything we can to address it!

That is why I…

  • Aim to work closely with national educational institutions, museums & communities to empower them to make change through the Roblox Platform.

  • Intend to utilize new Roblox features to support underfunded and unsupported communities identified through research & outreach.

  • Specifically aim to align with Roblox Corporations goals in Digital Safety, Civility & Education.

Real World Impact & Outreach

Technology wont slow down. It will continue to grow faster than ever before. Communication and collaboration is everything during times of change, and that is no different here!

In this time of change and technological advancement, no matter the age or generation, we may need some help to learn and grow in our abilities to utilize this technology.

Furthermore, underserved or underprivileged communities may be left behind due to economic disparity & policy changes.

In the spirit of collaboration, I…

  • Intend to lead initiatives that reach out to local communities & local education institutions, to further understand the Educational Crisis.

  • Aim to host events encouraging kids, teens, and young adults to shift their perspective and dream big.

  • Collaborate with local organizations to host STEM-focused programs, clubs, trainings and more as needed within local or nation-wide communities.

  • … and more!
